Maternity Photography

My love for photography started in high school, when my best friend and I became obsessed with photographing our horses and friends at horse shows (yes, we even had horse Instagram accounts!). I have a BFA in Photography and Graphic Design from the University of Alabama. While there, I photographed the UA football team for the student newspaper for two years, covering two bowl games, two national championships, and other sports like men’s basketball, gymnastics, and baseball. I also worked as a photographer and later photo editor for a women’s magazine on campus, where I planned, created, and executed editorial and high-fashion photoshoots, and even traveled to Costa Rica and England to photograph and create two digital magazines.  I planned to move to NYC after college to pursue fashion photography, but when Covid hit two months before graduation, life shifted. I spent the next few years photographing high-volume family portraits in Florida and Colorado and working with a wedding company in Florida. After moving to Arkansas, I took a break from photography—but now I’m so excited to be back behind the camera, capturing tender, joy-filled moments for growing families.
